Does anyone happen to remember the real name of Gypsy Chips who shared a garage with Jim Liberman when Jim was building his 1966 Nova funny car? He befriended an old lady who supplied him with lots of money that he squandered away, like purchasing a brand Jag XKE, just to take it apart to make a Jag funny car. I remember seeing that brand new Jag in pieces....never completed it. He used to tag along to events in the old lady's Cad. One time he made the old lady ride in Brutus's race car hauler, while we got to ride in the air-conditioned Caddy. I think his first name was Bob.
The only "Bob" I recall from that era was Berserko Bob, just what I remember from magazines, not him I'm sure.
