I have gotten a couple of these tags, and never mounted one before, I thought why? The H.A.M.B. is a cool, informative, educational place, I need to show my support. So I removed one of the covers on the 53 210 and here are the results,....

BTW, thanks Ryan for a great website, with countless cool things here.

Thank you man... the support means a lot and I certainly appreciate it. Seriously.

You wanna know something odd? My tags are hidden. On the a-coupe, I run the small acid etched one on the firewall, but on the '38 it's hidden under the deck lid.

I gotta work on my marketing skills!

    .....

One of the best moments of my hot rod life happened while working at Vern Tardel's one day. A period perfect '32 roadster pulled up with twin plug Eelco heads. I had never seen it before. I walked over to check it out and it had an Alliance tag on the firewall... Made me feel awesome.

**** that would make me feel pretty steller too Ryan.

I have one on my firewall above the steering wheel on my roadster. The other cars don't get one until I can make them move under their own power.

Great story, wonder who the member is?, sounds like a cool car.

I have heard of some of the member's here having their H.A.M.B. Alliance member tags stolen,...so, other than the fasteners on the plate being the old school clutch head screws, I riveted the tag to it.

    Thanks again.

I've got a couple on the shelf. I never put them on my cars cause my cars always seem to sell right after I finish them and I dont want to lose my HAMB tags. I'm gonna mount them on the bellytank before we head to the salt flats in August though.
Maybe then if someone offers me stupid money for the tank I'll say no cause I dont wanna lose the tags....

  10. Aaaand who owns it? Can't think of anybody here with Eelco heads on a '32 offhand but then I'm seriously sleep-deprived these days.

I believe his name was Bruce. I'll check my pics when I get home.

I've stamped every single tag that has ever left here. No one has ever filled in for me... I do it every Thursday... It's like a ritual:

I started and operated a skateboard company while in college and I remember the first time I seen some kid riding one my decks around down town out of the blue. I felt like I was on top of the world.....broke but on top of the world none the less. I still have every random image saved on my computer where it showed a glimpse of one of my decks being used. Definitely makes you feel big.

Thanks Ryan for everything, you have to be beside yourself seeing how big the HAMB has gotten. I have been thinking lately that the HAMB has to be the most influential force out there right now. You can't open a magazine without a mentioning and ****. Pretty cool.

My current one is on the dash of my A... I put a magnet on the back of them so that I can remove it if needed... My first one is on the side of my toolbox..

My tool box has 3 on it, my truck will get the nice br*** one when it's finished. I really hope the tool box doesn't get 3 more by then, but if it does, that will be fine by me. I saved room for more.
