Well....Jesse James is a member here and his 54 was on the cover of the November 2004 issue of Ol' Skool Rodz ( I think that was back before everyone decided that they hated that mag ). Ms Metal was in the upper right corner of the same cover with her 53 Chevy.

I can probably scan it this evening if anyone hasn't seen it.

Barry (of Odd Rods fame, can't remember his user name at the moment) also had his car on a cover recently...possibly more then one.

Yeah, I just Googled it... but it came up on Hot Rod's Website (I think). Rad car, nonetheless.

 

That's one of my favorite R&C issues.....not only for one of the baddest '32 5W's ever, the whole issue is great.

Here is my 15 minutes of fame...

 

OZ Welch has had a ton of cars that he has built on covers.

 

The only cover Jack ever got was in Rolls & Pleats, I pushed for it and shot it, other than that, Jack got a feature in Traditional Rod and Kulture a few years ago.
I sure hope his car gets more exposure than it has, in the past.

 

Rolf's coupe haunts my dreams. Wet, sticky dreams of that beautiful, beautiful car...

... and I don't even like red cars.

 

I'm not part of the huge 32 craze... but if I ever had the opportunity to build a 5w. This car would pretty much be it.

don't have the pic, but what about Aaron Von Minden's coupe pulling the wheels off the ground behind the blond in the firesuit on the cover of Garage a few years back. I guess I only assume he's on here. Bad Ass none the less.

 

The Ice Truck was on the cover of R&C in August 1970, and they reproduced the cover for the subscriber issue May 2009.
