  1. Damn...I forgot Crease just got that running THIS year! He's been driving it so much it just seems like it's been on the road for at least a year and a half! Definitely a cool ride...espescially knowing how much work he did all by himself! [IMG]

I say a no vote and in the migthy Marvel tradition (trade mark by Stan Lee) everyone on the list gets a "no prize."

(I wonder how many of you know what I am talking about on the no prize thing...closet geeks and all)

38Chevy454, is that a 216 chevy in your modified?

  8. Taking Von Tingler's idea one step further. He says he is not sure we should vote on the best car so lets vote on whether we should vote on the best car. Hell, lets be real democratic and vote on whether we should vote on whether we should vote to decide on whether we should.........where was I going with this. Excuse me, I think I need to sit and rest my head. By the way, they are all great. It's a tie.

I vote "yes" that we should vote on whether to vote or not, at which time I will vote "no" to voting.

B&SChevelle, the engine in the modified is a 53 215 Ford, same family as the later 223 which is more common.

BTW, I am replacing that six with a 60 Olds 394 this winter, and will be giving away that engine and trans to a needy HAMB'er soon. It runs and drives (with the POS-O-Matic trans connected to it), but the engine is pretty worn out. It's free, can't beat that.

Let's do this....vote for the favorite car, but only publish which car wins....no mention of how many votes were cast.

I say we vote, HAMBers should be mature enough not to cast hard feelings if their car doesnt win.

VonTingler this indeed is a conundrum, because unlike our brethren in the outside world we really do appreciate each other's accomplishments. I wish the rest of the world was more HAMBlike.
You know what, in all truthfullness most of the folks on the HAMB are pretty much ego free and they do what they do without the spectre of recognition over their heads.
If'n you do what you do for the love of it, then you're all winners.
That includes blokes who like to scratch their behinds until they smile. That's me in a nutshell.

That's kinda what I was trying to say. What's to say you can't paint a shirt and send it to the guy who built the car you like the most. Not that it's a requirement, obviously. I just think that out of the blue ways to show appreciation are neater than official, organized, ways. It's a very generous idea you had to do it in the first place and I'm glad to see more pics of these cars.

Besides, there are too many kick *** cars being built every year on this board to pick just one.

Or, if you have kid's, have them pick the one they like the most.
this way your not behind the eight-ball to "choose" between so many bad ride's, the kid's participate, and a lucky winner gets a kick *** shirt!!!
this way it's just for fun.

not tryin to make more work for ya man...but you are good at them things!!

    Rat........

We should all make an award presentation to the one we nominated...so VT ain't stuck giving one "prize" to one "winner"!!

    (They're ALL winners!!! [IMG])

I'm gonna make and present the Official 2003 Fat Hack Rusty Wrench Award to Kulturepimp!!! [IMG]

I'll make it up and mail it to ya Thom...you more than earned it, Bro!! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

  25. break it in two.

    Rod & Custom

The smoothest Custom here in my book is Cleatus'.

The best Hot Rod that can dish it out and take no prisoners and look like a life sized hotwheel is EvilFordCoupe.

    Nuff said.

I thought it was "you can pick your nose and you can pick your friends but you can't wipe your friends on the bottom of the couch"?

ive GOT IT! we do a poll to see who gets to pick which car gets to become Tinglers favorite! lol

reminds me of when a friend of mine raised his hand in cl*** and asked "Whats the answer for the question that says 'What do YOU think about the moral of the story?' "
