How about on the road...to recovery? I know there's a few pics on here already, but this 46 was last registered in 1962 in Minnesota. Here we sit, waiting for a pull to be loaded on the trailer to head back to Kentucky in August. BTW it was about 45 degrees outside. In August. I have since acquired a good flathead for it, and a few odds and ends. Hope to tear into it this spring, I'm the type that likes to have all my sht together before I start wrenching. I've learned from my failures
As far as road to recovery goes, 2004 was a banner year for me and the Sus*** County Buick Community. (photo manipulation courtesy of Donzie)
8th Grade. You better have the Willys ready this year and it better be FAST! The Model A will have her quick change and there will be no more 3:00 gear one wheel peel. She should drop a half a second..... I built this this year, but sadly sold her a week before the HAMB Drags. -Abone.
60's style, that's one of my favorite rides on here. It's cool as hell. Can't wait to see it on the road. edit - The pile of parts T thingamajigger, that is
doh! you said put on the road! ignore all that junk I posted, even the yellow ******* was on the road before I messed with it
Let's see, I did a few things this year... I built this: Painted this: Built and installed and drove the **** out of this: And started building this: I did some other stuff too, but these are the things I guess I'm most proud of....not too bad of a year now that I think about it. -Brian
Got this on the road after a bunch of years building. Now it's got 13k miles on it. B'ville and back to Wisconsin and Cali and back to Wisconsin. B B
got this started and lowered and swapped in a rearend from my deluxe last friday will hopefully drive by new years weekend
Here's my 90 day roadster-all I drove it was to HambDrags and a few Hun' miles so far.....[1600mi]..most time was spent on ch***is and driveline parts and about 8 hours on the body[and it looks like that too!]
With a load of help from Choprods and almost causing him, to miss the Hamb Drags completely,I did get my T roadster on the road, made 6 p***es in it,lost them all, still had one hell of a good time, drove it about a couple of months, really enjoyed the car, right now, Im in the process of putting a 27 T coupe body on the same ch***is and hope to be back on the road with it,this summer.
Like a few of the others, it's not on the road yet, but it's finally starting to look like a car again.. i started this 2 years ago this month..
Finally finished this up after 24 years. Usually I only take 2-3 years to finish a car. Finished quite a few while this one sat. Not for sale ever, had it too long and wanted a tub since I was 13. Pat.
Posted this clip a couple of weeks ago of my 50's maiden voyage... here it is again if you missed it. http://www.andersonarc.com/jeep/firstride1.mov got the rest of the front clip together and all the rubber on the doors installed. Waiting for winter to subside to get the gl*** in and finish the wiring... Pete
I trailered this 41 Pontiac coupe home in Dec, 03. Worked on it through the winter and drove it to Bonneville Speedweek in 04 and to HAMB drags...
