It was a burnout contest but i wasn't in it, i was the opening car. A good friend of mine has a tire shop and was the sponsor of the contest.
It was pretty safe with double fences and firedpt and so on, its not like i drove into a crowd of people and did a burnout.

Looks like it's his money, his tires and his engine and drivetrain parts that may take a beating on that one. But Like Groucho I get a bit worried when I see a car doing donuts in an area like that with people close by even with two fences who appears to be more than a bit out of control. I don't know your creds as far as being able to handle a car in a situation like that Nick and maybe that is what is a bit scary. Let off the throttle at the wrong time and let the tires hook up an you are right in the big middle of the crowd fences or no fences.
Looks like everyone was having fun and if your tire shop buddy cut you a deal on a new pair so much the better.

I can't say much here. I grew up doing bleach burnouts and fire burnouts in store and school parking lots. LOL

It wasnt very hard to find the parts when i built it so i don´t think it would be hard if i broke it. I take very good care of it and check it alot for worn parts.
The tires where free so that wasn´t a worry. The rev limiter on the motor was set to 4500rpm so it should be ok to. The drivetrain is plenty strong to handle it.
The crowd could have been a bit to close but when satanding there it seemed ok.
I dont think the overall abuse to it was more than a couple of passes on the strip.
