ill as in lots of ill rust. one of the many midwest states that have a lack of great cars due to this horrible snow melting idea. currently i am working on my oldest car owned to date trying to make a great rat-rod/hoodride for drivers by to appreciate and ponder the question "why?". i'm not mr. can do everything or mr. know everything but i can weld with a wire feed and fabricate metal stuff and i know the basics of paint and bodywork and i always have an open ear for any advise and teachings my elders or not so elders have to offer.

good thing you didn't mention that the oldest thing you are building was a VW... that would be bad. Sounds like a cool project. Just don't bring it up too often and the vultures won't circle. Its your car... who cares what they think anyways, right?
Welcome from Wis. plenty of cars up here! Besides it's not the snow it's the damn salt, our officials say we need, to get traction. And in spring it looks like Bonneville salt flats on our roads. But we Adjust and Rod on.
