Steve, I have hairpins on my tub with no problems. Using Vega steering with double eyed steering arm on p***enger spindle.

I'm building a 30 coupe with a 4" dropped axle, hairpins, a 51 F1 box and Speedway upper steering arm for the draglink and everything clears.

  13. I know this is not help but I have always used cross steer with hairpins.

Where is your interference perhaps on the A you will need to bend your steering arms.

X2 it's the early spindle design. Heat and bend till clearance occurs.

Try fliping the pitman arm around.

Steve, I think that you can flip the ball joint to the bottom of the arm. Re-taper the hole and put it in from the bottom. Then. Your tie rod can go through the center of the hairpin like it is intended.
