Half-price weekend @ St. Louis Pick N Pull

    The "catch" might be that it's 1/2 price on everything "in the yard". I believe this is their last 1/2 price event for they year. I can't speak for other Pick N Pull locations, but it might be all locations.

    Any advice for a Pick N Pull noob? I know about providing my own tools and will be bringing a wingman. What are their gotcha's? Core charge on engines?

    I'll be looking for a running SBC for my project.

    Some individuals go on Friday and pull the parts they want and stash them in some odd ball wreck so they are still there Sat morning. Be ware of hoping for a good small block-check it very closely before buying, if they have one.

    I bought an old Stewart Warner water temp gauge out of a Jeep at my Pull-A-Part here this morning. It cost a whopping $4.

    I love that place. I'm always the only one there at lunch wearing a tie.
