SOLD SOLD SOLD....... I originally got this for my A, but the build changed and now I don't have a use for it. It is an early Culver City Halibrand magnesium Champ quick change that has been completely gone through by Buffalo Enterprises. Buffalo installed an excellent condition GoldTrack adjustable limited slip differential and set it loose for street use (is completely adjustable to your liking). This is the larger size QC, but it comes with the Halibrand magnesium side bell adapters for '40 bells. A nice set of '40 bells with axle housings are included that have large bearing ends already installed as well as backing plates for Ford 9" brakes. The measurement from backing plate flange to backing plate flange is 53" It has one set of quick change gears....large one is 23 tooth and small is 19 tooth. The housing is in great condition but has a few nicks and is definitely "used". It is not cleaned or polished....it has patina that I was going to leave but could be easily cleaned/polished if desired. The only thing this rearend needs to be complete is a pair of 31 spline axles. I didn't have axles made because I knew if I did it would be the wrong bolt pattern for whoever buys it and would be a waste of money. I found new axles made to order for around $250/pair. You don't see complete Halibrand qc's very often, and when you do they usually have spools if any guts at all.....this one is complete and done the best way you can do one for the street. The GoldTrack differentials aren't made anymore either so it would be difficult to recreate this combination. This isn't a "v8" size quick change...it is the one that will actually handle decent horsepower (I've heard they are rated up to 800 horse??). I'm asking $2800 for everything plus shipping. I'm open to offers and possibly even trades, but cash is best.
