Well I think it's close enough now to post, I'll be in Vegas Oct 28 - Nov 2. I have a bachelor party to go to on the 28th, and there is some other function happening the next day at 4... All I know is I won't be wearing the penguin suit. Anybody want to meet a big, fat Floridian for a beer while I'm there? PM me if you do, that way it won't look pathetic when nobody responds. I'll be staying at Circus Circus.

Not sure what kind of bars you like hang out in, but if you like a good punk rock bar, check out the Double Down Saloon over by the Hard Rock. It's dirty, *****y, but fun. Probably some good bands playing that weekend, knowing them. I'd join you, but I'll be out of town that weekend... Have fun man! Vegas must be the bachelor party capital of the world!

My good friend Peter moved out there from Milwaukee about a year ago. He books weekly Rockabilly, Surf, Psychobilly, & Burlesque shows. Most of his shows are at a club called Level One located near Freamont St. He was also the guy behind the 1st Annual Sin City Stomp - Last Spring I'm not sure what he has booked around Halloween, but I'm sure it'll be good. Look the place up while your there, I know you won't be dissapointed. If you run into him he has a thick German accent as he moved to the US about 2 years ago to work here as a chef but he loves to meet new people and show them around town etc....

Leave early and go to the Rock-a-billy Rod Reunion. It's the weekend of the 15th of October. I'm goin'!! It's gonna be cool. car show, drags, bands, pin-up girls...and general hooliganism....or possibly hula-gan-ism (if there are some surf bands there)
Only gonna be there those days, vacation days already accounted for. I'm gonna get me a $5.99 prime rib at the Golden Gate, so I'll look for you buddies palce.
I get on the plane at 9am tomorrow, staying at Circus Circus Batchelor party Friday night Wedding Saturday at 4 (they say it'll only be 2 hours, no reception), Sunday at 7:30, Zumanity (free seats in lighting booth, brother-in-law of good friend is in Mystere, design duo). Monday, Halloween, looking for something to do. Flying home Tuesday. PM me with a phone # if you want to grab a beer or do something automotive Sunday or Monday morning or afternoon.
DUDE! I hope you're chick is with you, because you're going to want to skip everything after Zumanity and go right to the hotel room!! That show is supposed to be super *****! Everyone I've talked to said thye went home IMMEDIATELY following... do not p*** go, do not collect $200! Good luck with that man!

I've lived here since 1997 and still haven't been to SEMA! I have a hard time getting hooked up too. Guess I know all the wrong people!
