I’ve searched this topic and have found a lot of answers but unfortunately they were all pre-Covid before all of the availability issues.
I have a 1930 Dodge Brothers DD6 with original headlights. The diameter of the reflector is 9.25” and I’ve been looking for a halogen conversion with no luck. I’ve checked Drake, Brattons, Julianos, Speedway and nobody has availability. The car has been converted to 12v. I would like to have a hi/low in the headlight and use the original buckets.
Any experience finding a replacement for just the bulb that will work with the original reflector? Is the reflector OK with a modern halogen? Is heat an issue?
I would also consider an LED.
Thanks in advance for any input!
