Everybody that is going to show needs to close there eyes and think really hard for the rain to stay away. Rain go away. Rain go away. We can do it.

    Well,
My trip looks like a go. Only a couple of rattles, squeaks and small leaks to worry about. Last I checked, only a 30 percent chance of rain on Friday and fair / cool for the weekend. Yeah, I'll be the guy with the radials parked out back. Later, Gary

I'm just about ready as well with a make-shift hood and some welds to the exhaust tomorrow AM before we go (couple of broken welds to my tab mounts) - looking forward to it .....

TomT--looking forward to meeting you .. We have spoke a few times on here...

Update on my car.. Just ordered two 1 1/2 carb spacers from Vintage Speed... Charlie is overnighting them to me..

Drove the car last night and the throttle was.... like a slingshot.. push the gas and nothing..... then bam.. hang on.. Gotta get the carbs up a little higher to make it act right...

Looking forward to seeing you again, Tom! Saw your car in the Jalopyrama crowd!

Willie's right! Pray for as little rain as possible, or at least hold off 'til after midnight!

Drive safely, GN and all others on their way soon!

Ramp over the back stretch, about 100 yards up the hill from the tunnel entrance. Park near the water tower behind the track if you can.

This is what I do when I show up in Chucks!

    Dan ...

    Gate 17 ... or G17 on the map :D
    Try to park in P12.

Sometimes ... rodders who are by themselves STOP and pickup a p***enger ... to save the p***enger $$$.
Each entry gets 2 people in free so they just help another rodder out.

Can I just drive in the gate and pay right there or do I need to be paying online somehow?

You have to register with GoodGuys before you get to the gate, I believe.....

But they do have a location to do so the day of.

The car is cleaned, oil is change, and columbia is working great. Mike what kind of beer do you drink? These weekend is great Roadster weather if you were polar bear. Remember to wear you winter coat my car has no heater. I talked to Jack last night from West Virginia he is not going to make down to show. He has some family problems. I plan on going to to shop sometime in January.

You can go in and register starting today between 8:00 and 5:00 The registration should be in the front of the speedway at the main entrance. The deadline has p***ed for online registration so you're gonna have to do it there, as am I. Looking forward to seeing your 32!

I laid back and let all the race car types p*** me and get stuck behind the pace car just riding around at 70 MPH. Once they were all out of the way I could flog the **** out of the old flathead for all it was worth. What a ball. Sure it probably didn't get much over a hundred MPH before I had to let up for the turn but on old buggy springs and no sound deadening that can raise the heart rate pretty high. Don't forget about the tri-oval after turn 4. It's not banked like the other turns!:D Don't miss the chance.
