This brochure came with the '50 Champion that I bought a few years ago. It also came with the original purchase order....

I bought a '49 Buick Special in 2010 that was sold new in Harlan, Iowa. It came with a key ring from the local gas station where the two sisters who bought it new had it serviced. I emailed the local weekly newspaper and they ran a story on it along with my email address and I heard from about a dozen people who had relatives who worked at the dealership and I also heard from a son of each of the two brothers (Harry and Emory) who ran the gas station. I thought that was pretty cool....

Here's a pic of the car (with original paint and interior) along with a pic of an oil change sticker that was in the door jamb....

Some of these trinkets I've picked up over the years so not sure the era.
Probably a little modern for this place but as long as you asked.
I live real close to what was a GM training center, many years ago there was some big regional shindig going on so I just wandered in like I belonged there.
The Chevrolet sungl***es and black notebook I gladly accepted, I've used them both over the years.

^^^I remember that GM training center in Tigard, I would have wandered in myself if I thought I was going to get a pair of aviators and a pig sticker.

Even non-sports fans who have never been to Chicago probably know who Phil Wrigley is. You could buy a small house for this kind of money back then....

Calendars usually start with December of the previous year as the first page, at least they used to do so.

Don found this at a swap meet. TV tray that we think was given away by a dealer. The bottom one though not quite as old could be a gift given to dealers and rental car companies checking out the new models in Las Vegas.

How about some service awards. Most of the pins are 10kt. The 2 on the left say Professional sales counselors and the GM one is a money clip. If anyone can date the five round parts and service awards speak up. I can not find much info on them. Thanks IMG_1698.JPG

  21. Clarkston Michigan. Jack Haupt Pontiac became Randy Hosler Pontiac.
Haskins Chevy-Olds became Rademacher Chevy-Olds around 1967, then became John Bowman Chevrolet - and even that person has now p***ed.

Rademacher Chevy - many good memories working there. Like the Jamaican that I hired to wash cars, and taught me how kerosene could put a shine on a tired old trade-in.

    Don't worry be happy mon!

    "On display Friday"!
The social event for Dads every year.
My friend Joe and I went to those as teenagers. They had burgers and dogs with all the things that were rare to kids with big families in the late 60's and early 70's. We could eat, because we just ate. We rode up on bicycles.

Kinda hard to read, the brown leather key holder came with my A coupe, it's from Modern Motors. Caddie dealer in Glendale. Red plastic key holder came with my 1954 Ranchwagon, I am second owner and original owner picked the car up at the Ford factory (or so Im told). Not sure where they built the Ranchwagons in '54 but I always ***umed Detroit.

not sure if this has been posted - local dealer promo for 1964 - at the time Bonanza was a hit TV show and sponsored by Chevy - at least in these parts....think some one was actual going to play this record - why the corners are cut I'm thinking....this Garland dealer was one the "money making mile" as the many dealers on that road boasted.....a suburb of Dallas

I don't know the details other than what's found on the internet but Dan Blocker (Hoss) was given/loaned one of the first 1965 Chevelles with the Z-16 option package. One of only 200 built hardtops (plus one convertible) with the new for 65 big block 396 engine.
These are one of the more desirable (read that valuable) hi performance Chevy's.
