    Looks like a windshield install stick. Helps you pull the rubber out around the frame. note all the black "Stuff" on the ends from manipulating the rubber. And the name on it is a gl*** company if I remember correctly.

    Post 58 is showing a trim stick. Used for everything in the car factory. In the gl*** area we used it to spread the urethane that helded the w/s an b/l in. Used it to pry trim loose that was wrong are damaged. The cars would have never made it out the door without those. If your tool box doesn't have two go get some. You'll be glad you did.

    thanks 325w.....next to the name it really looks like a blue oval with Ford in it.....don't recognize the dealer though...

    Ric, the break down on serial numbers is listed on the '54 Ford Club site

    your first letter will be a A,U or P /the next will be a 4 indicating a 1954 what is your next letter?

    that will tell you where the car wsa ***embled. HRP
