Uhh...I really don't know WHAT the fuck happened here...but then, I never REALLY know what's gonna fall outta my pen once I put it to paper!! Ha Ha...I had a notion to draw a tall cab tow truck, and this is what I got!! Ha Ha! Looks like Superman has his hands full THIS time?!
I think I took the fish eye lens to far this time!! This is a radical enhanced 40' pickup "toter" with a Huge "Hemi" "T Bucket"
Hey Hack Do you think this is the "Calm before the storm"? Are we going to be flooded, soon, with Artwork beyond any comprehending! I predict it will be the greatest Challenge, so far!
Ha Ha! I sure HOPE so!! It's just such a wide-open subject matter that there's almost an endless sea of possibilities just waiting to be created!!! The C.O.E. picture thread put me in the mind to doodle up some sorta wrecker based on that style of truck, and this here was the result. Looks like our fearless Hook Jockey lost his fare...but he doesn't seem to mind! Excellent job on the fisheye'd 40 flatbed, by the way!!!!
i spent so much time checking out that travel trailer i totaly forgot how i even got to it. LOL talk about getting side tracked...
Conder is my hero. along with; Denny Lesky, Paul Beck, Chip Foose, JEEM, Bass, Jeff Norwell, Dan Turner, Dan Webb, Zombie, Cole Foster and..... (you get the idea)!
Thanks for the compliment! I haven't done much concept art the last few years, and I think these have been up before somewhere, but here are some motorcycle haulers I came up with for Street Trucks back in '04. They are all front wheel drive using Eldo/Toronodo transaxles, with big bagged trailing arms in the back so the bed can be deep (no rear axle) and go all the way to the ground for easy loading...
It would be nearly impossible. As a side note, I dig the use of wire wheels on that orange truck Tim, looks perfect.
A pair of 50 Fords. 1 chopped, 1 not. I also put the bullet nose from the shoebox on the rig. Pastel and crayon on Strathmore. Sander
Sander that's awesome! Great work by everyone... one and a half weeks left, I know there's more out there!
This is one I did in the nineties. I am going to start building it one of these days. Geppeto, the sultan of wood.
Thanks, lockwood customs, I have always wanted to make something out of a cadillac 500 front wheel drive, or a Olds Toronado, and I think this would be it. Probably won't ever get done, but everybody has the one old dream rolling around in their head.
Future COE I always thought the COEs looked like Pugs! Bulgy eyed, squat monsters that are sort of repulsive, yet adorable. Here's my version of the Pug pushed into a future where hot rods still need hauled to the flats and spray salt in their wakes. Long live the COEs. Long live the hot rods!
after seeing this thread I decided i wanted to draw a hauler for the GN JAP racer.. this is what I have so far.. it's nowhere near done.. i'll update it soon:
Imagin, driving around the corner and finding this Truck...Vintage tin! ...30 Ford Truck and a 30 Ford pickup on back! Title: "Waiting for Restoration! Gees, I don't know about you, but this challenge is FUN!!!! Quick note: This one goes to my Dad! Merry Christmas!!
This is designed after the Elite transporter's Its a 40 Plymoth coupe made into a rig for Spencer's Speedshop(Not a real place) with a louvered 40 plymouth coupe. I hope you guys like it!
Hey GaryC That pug is cool! Great lines and cool perspective! Does the horn say..OINK...OINK? Cool stuff, Dude!
