It's about damn time contributed something to this board so here it is.

1954 Chevrolet 4dr Bel-Air Project car.

What it has:
All sheetmetal w/ spare hood, trunk lid and some fenders
decent windshield with some minor seperation at the edges
trunk full of parts, no great parts, but parts nonetheless.
Redone engine compartment.
glass in all 4 doors, some is cracked. back window is perfect.
stainless around windows.
seats, back seat is pretty nice
rebuilt master cyl (manual trans style)
steering box, column and wheel.
and more.

What it doesn't have:
engine, trans or rear end. it has a '53 housing with axles so it will roll, no center section.
no radiator
no hubcaps
no guages at all.
no grille.
no side trim

There's too much to list in either category so just pm me about what is included.

The body is fairly solid. It does have some quarter size rust holes behind the rear wheel openings. Floors are pretty solid. front fenders are near perfect.. maybe a few dings.

Comes complete with authentic bullet-hole(tm) windshield (and the good one inside of course), 4 wheels and 4 tires.

Here's the rules:

Auction starts at $100. Everything over $75 goes to ryan. The $75 will buy me gas to meet the winner since it is out on the family property.

Auction ends 2 weeks from now. 10pm on the 18th of october.

Winner and I will arrange a time to pick it up and so on and so forth. blah blah blah... now for some pictures.

not sure if dash chrome is still on the car. I might have sold it, but here's the dash. Radio delete plate doesn't go with the car.

Hell, if nothing else it would be a good car to practice chopping.

I'm trying to come up with some kind of help with delivering it part way or something to help out non-texas hambers. Right now the best I could do probably is get it to Dallas. I'm working on it though. Rashy has offered help and suggestions, so maybe we get some sort of hamb relay going for those long distance bidders.

oh just a little more about the car. I bought 3 '54s and built this one out of the best parts. I intended on using this car. So things like the steering column were the best I had. Little or no play in it. Same goes for the rest of the parts on the car.

Other side about a year ago..

If it helps I'll throw in a 235 with a 3 spd if the winner wants it. The engine ran when it was pulled to be replaced by a V-8. It sat in barn for a year or so. I can help get it anywhere on the East Coast or as far as Nashville, TN

If it goes to someone up north, you can use my place as a pit stop on the way, or as meeting point or whatever; i've got plenty of floor and couch space (sometimes I even have beer!). This goes for you george, and/or the buyer.

Thanks Jake! We'll see what happens and where it going to go to soon.

Thought I might add that the title is iffy. I have a correct title for this car, but it is signed to someone that I can't find. Depending on what you do with it or how strict your DPS is maybe it won't matter.

When you win this auction (what is this, number 27???) and come to pick up the car, you can pick up your model too!

You Funny!
You take lessons from Rasshy?
Sounds like a good idea, tho.
You could give me a tour of the Auto Parts Giant Retailer(s) in your part of Tejas! [IMG]

We will see how serious other bidders are.

Remember, it benefits this li'l sand box we play in. [IMG]

Not to worry, Ryan.
But I have to sleep with my good eye open!!!! [IMG]

This is cheap for a car.

There are a few days left.

By contrast.
I paiod $345.26 for etching primer, catalyst(1 liter each) 3 liter primer surfacer, hardner, and reducer.
I'll sand most of that off.

Every once in a while, life gets a little more surreal.
Is this one of those times?
Raven, go ahead, post your highest bid, so I will know if I can meet it. [IMG]

Damn, I already have a 4 door Buick I don't know what I'm gonna do with.

But, this is too cheap to pass on.

(Someone needs to outbid me though cuz I really don't have the money.)

$200. USD
