Santa didn't bring you those F-1 front shock mounts you asked for? Too bad. But here's your chance to snag a really nice set of shock mounts AND support your hamb addiction all in one fell swoop! I bought these this morning for the express purpose of this auction. I took them off of a '48 - '50 F-1 myself in a very cool super secret salvage yard. I have a set I'm going to use on my "T" project and they aren't as nice as these. But I bought these to auction and auction them I will. I hope the pix that I'm going to post do them justice. This is what they look like after about ten minutes of wire wheeling them. I was going to sand blast them, but they didn't need it. You all know the drill. After I get a pm from Ryan that he's got the $$$ then I'll ship them out. I'll pay for shipping in the continental US. If someone wins them from outside the continental US I'll split the shipping cost with the winner. Bidding ends on, saaaay, January 7, 2004, (Damn! It's nice to look right up over my screen at a H.A.M.B. calendar!!!) at 10:00 pm CST. I hope I'm not overstating the condition of these, but I've never seen a nicer set right off of the original truck. You can't really see it, but these are the correct Ford bolts with the long shoulder and "short" threads. One of the nuts which hold the shocks on has been replaced with a standard one, though. I don't care what bidding starts at, 'cause I know they will go for a nice H.A.M.B. donation. Good luck and happy bidding.
My bid is $61. I had a set but a friend butchered them. [ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] If it ain't broke, brake it then fix it.
Can't let Frank or Max have 'em...$67.93. (that after breaking open my daughters piggy bank)She's only four...she won't know!!!
Andy, you said it. Foiled again, nothing like playing dirty, its no fun when the pot gets raised this fast. I'll have to do some more digging. Frank
It's not the price, it's the fact that the $$$ goes to Ryan. I can get them cheaper than what I offered. Yeah, If I could get $125 for them personally, I'd be scrounging !!!

Im fully aware of the purpose but there can be only 1 winner. A few donations my way wont be turned down either. BTW, Ive spent around $325 on HAMB auctions last year.
Hey all you hambers, You've only got about 14 hours left to bid on these babys. You gonna let them go for a measly buck and a quarter???? Step up and support our H.A.M.B.!
The test above was just to double check. 10:58 on the HAMB "clock" is 9:58 CST. Therefore, I've determined that CrazyDaddy has made the deadline with two whole minutes to spare. CONGRATULATIONS CrazyDaddy! Just send the cash to the boss and when he pm's me confirming he's got it I'll mail these out. While we're waiting for Ryan to get the money send me your snail mail addy so's I can get the package together. Either pm me or use the e-mail address in my bio. Thanx to everyone for bidding. Thanx most of all to Ryan, who rules (and provides a great place for us to hang out).
Good on you crazydaddy. hell of a deal! all going to a good cause at the end. O.K. guys i still need some for my roadster. PLEASE.
