HAMB AUCTION QUESTION??

The winning bidder, for F-1 shock mounts, DID NOT REPLY. Anyone know what I should do? Yes I PM'd them.....OLDBEET

 

How long has it been since you p.m.'d them? Maybe they're just outta town or having computer problems. I'd wait a few more days and see what happens.

 

How long ago was the auction over?
Could be there are circumstances beyond control.
Hopefully the person will contact you or Ryan.
Perhaps, Ryan will know what to do.
But, if it has been a while, then maybe the next highest bidder would still be interested?

It is cool to have the auctions to benefit the HAMB, which in turn benefits all of us.

i don't know...i had an auction for a pinstriped doohickey months ago and i guess nobody sent ryan any money...contacted everyone,but still no answer

Is there a HAMB auction protocol. I also have a uncompleted auction.

 

Not to change the subject, but who the hell is snapper?. do i know you, or do i want to?.
once the auctions slow down, i want to auction some 50's era Hot Rod magazines for the HAMB. does it ever slow down?. some auction rules would be good. why waste our time and Ryans, if the high bidder flakes out?. there should be a penalty phase for them.

nothing to hide, thats me sent a few checks to ryan since winning the auction, even got ahold of him, but im not sure the last payment arrived, gotta check the bank statements... and to be honest it slipped my mind recently.

its on my morning to do list.

I don't know Ryan personally.
But, I doubt he would want any type of "RULES" associated with the auctions.
Also, I don't believe there should be. The HAMB should be kept free. I think Ryan's policy is that if you want to contribute...good, if you don't want to contribute....thats fine too....THE HAMB IS FREE. purty simple and in my opinion, thats the way the WORLD should be ran...

as for those who don't pay:

Having said that, I must say that whoever wins an auction on here and does not pay IS A SHITHEAD. A person like this has NO idea what the HAMB is about.

Fellas, the HAMB is really a great thing.....If we fuck it all up.....its our own faults! A person who BIDS, WINS, and DOES NOT PAY, does NOT belong here. The HAMB is free for crying out loud. You do not have to participate in an auction if you do not want to. There is no sense in people winning and NOT paying!

Send your money to Ryan and stop screwing around!

One dude has already sent the payments, and the other auction has only been overwith for a week......

Seems like its not that big of a deal. Give 'um some more time.


I still stand behind my rant on HAMB AUCTIONS....
Although, I would bet that most people on here would do the right thing. Most people on here KNOW what the HAMB is about..
