HAMB AUCTION! Second annual Symco Shakedown Show Package

Last year our good friend glmarkie won the auction for my 1000th post which included a great package to enjoy our show. Jerry even had his car on the show flier for this year!!!

Well, I can't think of a better way to start off this summer by doing it all over again. Same rules as last year, winning bidder pays Ryan, I hook you up for the 2010 Symco Shakedown. I'll mail something to you if you wish, or just come to the show and I'll have it waiting for you.

If you don't know about the show, the 2009 show picture post by carguy is 300 posts long and pretty much sums up the action from last year. Do a search for Symco to find it. Or just check out our website, www.symcoshakedown.com. I don't need to tell you how awesome this venue is, just ask the Oliver Built group or anyone who was there last year. I lost track on how many people told me it was the best show they attended last year...I even heard it again at a local show today.

We will have 8 bands in the dance hall(including Deke Dickerson!), more entertainment in the tavern, mini-bike races, 400+ hot rods and all that is cool in the Town of Symco, WI. Check out the article on page 24 of Old Skool Rodz issue #40. There are plenty of Symco videos on Youtube and the next Vintage Torque DVD will have it on as well.


On to the good stuff....We will start off with about the same package as last year:

FREE weekend admission for yourself, your ride and your gal(or guy, or buddy, or imaginary friend) to the Shakedown, Aug 13 & 14, 2009.

You will get FREE weekend camping on a PREMIUM space(right next to the Vagabonds), right on the water, or in the old folks sites across the road if you wish to actually get some sleep.

I will give you a gas card worth $25 to help get to the show.

You will get $25 cash to use for beer/soda/food at the show.

You will get a FREE show T-Shirt.

I will give you 5 quarts of oil and a filter for your ride.

You will get a custom made(by myself) Symco vinyl sticker. Size and color of your liking.

I will toss in a Symco Can Koozie.

To top it off you will get an PILE of chances to win the monster Flathead we are giving away this year!!

Also if you are a local wisconsinite and need new exhaust on your ride, old, new or whatever, I will give you a $150 credit to any use towards any service work I perform at my shop in Oshkosh, Harrison St Motors. Expires one year from the date the auction ends.

Everything is transferable as a package, to one other individual, shall you not be able to make it to the show....or would like to give it away as a gift.

WAIT JUST A SECOND!!! I am going to spruce it up a little bit for this year.

In addition to all above, you will get a nice copy of our current big show poster AND a free copy of the limited edition extra secret special poster I am printing for sale at the show only.

You will get a 2011 Symco Shakedown shop shirt embroidered with your name on it.

I will provide you with a Symco Shakedown beer mug etched with our logo and your name.

If your hot rod fits the criteria and is pretty darn traditional, we will do our best to try to get some good shots of it on the grounds for our 2011 show flier. No promises, but we will try.

If I can figure out some more stuff to add, I will. This package is priceless, camping next to the Vagabonds alone is worth a tetanus shot come Monday morning.
