You guys are SICK!.This is cool but you don't need to do it. I have already been so blessed. Saturday, on the way to the Jalopy Showdown, I dropped something on the passenger side floor and took off my seatbelt to reach over and get it. When I leaned over, I must hae pulled the wheel to the left and the car SHOT off in that direction! It threw me over to the right and I was laying across the front seat @ 60mph and headed off tht road.

Long story short. compressed #5 vertebrate and fractured #6. I could have easily been paralized. Sunday, the Shock Trama Surgeons fused the discs and today, Iwalked out and now at home. There is a LOT of pain and will be 6-12 weeks of rehab ("Tried to make me go to rehab......") but it all looks good. I also have a fractured right shoulder.

Lesson? Keep your fuckin' hands on the wheel and DRIVE!!!!!
