My avatar is of my very 1st real hotrod. It's a 26 T roadster with a Vette 327, 3 deuces, wide whites, BIG headlights, black with red tuck n roll interior, chrome reverses. I sold it two years ago in order to finance my current project: a 27 T roadster pickup; 283 this time. 3 deuces again, ( love them deuces! ) 5 speed top loader, sitting on 32 deuce rails with a 4 1/2 inch chopped 32 deuce grille shell. It'll be black, maroon interior, maroon/ blood red pin-stripes ( done by your's truly ) SW gauges, 3:42 rear end gear, radio, heater, wipers that work, and eventually a top. Oh yeah, a 3 piece hood with louvered sides. Basic transportation.
Yeah I drive my '82 Granada Wagon everyday. I wanted a Falcon. Desired a Comet. I had to settle for this.
I change my avatar from time to time, this one is my own car and i've had it for +30yrs, been race only for 20yrs. The other avatars i've had are cars i've built, driven or did significant work to. But my old Nova is still my favorite, i'm hoping they'll let me make a pass or two with it at some nostalgia events - it's kinda modern under the tin.
forgot to mention MY new avatar . winfield "BB" carb from a fellow HAMBER . love it & have a "BB" manifold i got from another HAMBER . great forum here . good people ! .. steve

not a great pic, but i own it, drive it, beat it,...The pic is a t-shirt design for a friends company, so now i can wear it too
I drive mine (not daily due to current health issues) and my SO (hubby) drives his too, not daily in AZ, too many crazy drivers, but we do DRIVE them. I'm attaching a picture of them side by side in front of our "Hot Rod RV"
Sold the gasser a couple months ago, just changed the avatar today. My latest project, Dads old T bucket.
I own it, but I don't drive it yet. Only time I drove it so far was onto the trailer to tow it home. Currently it's dismantled.
Own it, but have not driven it since we brought it home.......................(in 1960 - my bro and I aboard with big dreams). Getting closer, though!!!!! Robb
It's me with Milner's coupe in 1984 in the driveway of a friend who owned and restored it back in the late 70's and early 80's. He also owned the '55 at that time. I was about 30 at the time.
Thats mine and my son before I got it on the road but it still looks about the same, maybe it'll get paint this summer.
I own and drive my 1957 Olds as well as my other occasional avatar, my 1934 Plymouth. Driving them is a greater thrill then owning them.
I'm not driving mine....He's driving us (at least most of us)! Hopefully that's a regular smoke and not one of those "wacky tabacky" smokes! I do have a 37 Ford in my garage that I drive a lot. It's not mine, though, I just keep it in a dry place it for my dear old dad.
