Ok, long beach is only two words, whats the "C" for??? [IMG]

The radio keeps saying its winding up for a storm on Sunday... my wipers are a joke, and my tires arew worn down to where they are legitamately now cheater slicks, they don't chirp when I hit 2nd anymore, they actually bite... I took it out for "fun" in the rain on Wednesday... when I actually tried to not slide, it took some doing.

What I'm saying is, if its raining I'll have to p***...:( because no one wants to see a ricemobile...

    haters...

How about a March 13th Rain Date?

(Selfish date selection, I have the next two Sundays booked already, in fact I have a club meeting in Downey at 1:00 this Sunday.)

I have similar issues as Burnedup.

Rain date sounds okay by me though, it'd actually be better, then we'll have a little bit more dough and can bring better food [IMG].

That would actually get me some time to "tune" the Starchief to ensure it would make the 300+ mile roundtrip. Thats more miles than this car has been driven in the last 3 or 4 years!

long beach crips, I knew you were too white to know that.

I say postpone the bbq now before it turns into a letdown.

OK, then, what are the geographical constraints? what streets make up the borders? I KNOW the 710 is one side!!! [IMG] Or is it just the whole town?

OKAy - after coordinating with Fonzie we've decided to give LB a month to dry out. Its worth waiting for a great sunny day - we have plenty of sunshine here so there's no need wasting a great BBQ on one of our few rainy days here.

MARCH 13th SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT RAIN DATE - LETS PLAN ON IT!

    Scotch~!

I just realized that the 13th is the same weekend as The March Meet at Famoso. I won't be able to make the HAMB SoCal Barbecue that weekend. I'll be sunburned and huffing fumes in the stands at the 1000 foot mark. Any chance of pushing it forward or back a week?

For those of you coming from the North, get on the 605 South and exit at Spring St. That's the right lane when you get to the end of the off ramp. I got off there just yesterday and know that the entrance to the park is the first light to the West of the freeway which is maybe 50 yards past where you get off the off ramp.
It's like right turn, blink, right turn!
There's a kiosk where they take $5 from you.
They started that years ago to keep "hoodlum's in Lowrider cars" from cruising the park and causing trouble. They figured that "gangster's" wouldn't pay $5 just to cruise and "bother picnikers in the park" (There was some "gang activity" at the time, but we arent a gang... right?) [IMG]
