Hey Slickster51_50 there is a group of hotrodders that get together every tuesday for lunch in Peoria. They call it Taco Tuesday, its at Kerrigans Bar and Grill on rt116 at the bottom of Germantown Hills. Its a great time and they usually have about 40 guys show up. I am about the youngest one there(42) and the stories these old hotrodders tell is great. I have often thought about recording them just to have later on. Most of them are streetrod builders and old street racers. Its open to everbody and the food is great. We get guys from Iowa stop by once a month. A couple guys from Springfield come up every week and from Galesburg. Bring an appetite and a good story and expect to be there about two hours.

 

Next month is a mabe fer me, you all have a good time. Pix if ya drive a rod/custom cool cruiser!
