Ok, I need to know who wants a calendar and how many you want. I've been getting prices but I haven't heard from the "comittee"... Ryan, Big A, Fuel Pump... I still want this to happen, and I don't want to be the one to handle all the money, shipping, etc, etc. but if I have to, then I'll try to figure it all out. No one is going to print this without payment first. And I don't have the cash to front the bill. So before we take money, who is SERIOUS?

I for one would be interested, did we get and idea of a final cost (remember double it for the kiwi peso) ? I guess we can prolly lump the kiwi's together and post them to one of us for distribution.

    One or two.

Of course you could wait for the fabulous Lowe's Motor Speedway PPG Nationals Goodguys Rod Run Calendar (not endorsed by Goodguys, Lowes or PPG) that the Saints did last year. It should be out the morning of October 26, depending on our hangovers. A classic, I might add.

The last time we were discussing it, I think we agreed on $15. The best price was approximately $2800 but that was having them pad bound, like a note pad. I'm more inclined to go with some of the quotes Roger got me, which was the $3700-$5000 range for 1000 calendars.

That price doens't take into account any shipping costs.

Going on the high side with the $5000 quote, and allowing $8 for shipping per calendar, and the average order will be 2 calendars, that comes out to selling 263 calendars before this can come to fruition. I'm not a mathematician though, so tell me if that ain't right.

Two of them here and I can pay in advance to get the ball rolling and so everything does not have to come out of your pocket. I know that I do not have $2800 laying around. Also did anyone "HAMBers" own a printing shop? To help you out on the price. Just wondering. Also what does the turn around look like on getting them printed? January is only a couple of months away. Sorry for so many questions, but I have not been following the posts on the calender's.

    Thanks,

You are way high on the shipping though. You can mail up to 3 lbs in one of those USPS soft bag mailers thingys for $3.95. Could probley get at least 4 or 5 in there for that price. Of course higher for CN, NZ, and Downunder [IMG]

Obviously if you order 2, the shipping will not be $8 x 2. I don't think I made that very clear after re-reading it again.

Turn around looks to be 5-7 days after payment. I am still inclined to not sacrifice the quality of the piece to save money at this point. So the cost to print as it stands right now is $5151, excluding shipping to whomever steps up to handle distribution.

If we can't get 263 calendars sold in a pre-sale, then I think I will have to break down and drink myself stupid. Keep in mind, that leaves 700+ calendars that will be pure profit for the HAMB. You do the math...

  29. I'll have a couple, was there another Aussie who was going to bring in a few to save on postage/packaging etc?

    Cheers,
