Right on the Spot in El Monte Ca makes real 50's club jackets for about $85 each, cant be wearing any of this Moderne thin graphics printed on it stuff, that'd be VERY Corny to me, just sayin' !

 

I agree. I kind of like the SoCal black jacket with cable stiching. That would make a cool HAMB jacket.

If it was up to me I'd do this and add our user names up front.

 

I am VERY into this idea. I've had patches made before and it's pretty easy to get done and not terribly expensive when you buy enough. I have a pretty good size collection of patches on my jacket and filed away for others. I would love HAMB patches.

I got to say no to the TAN arms as I have a SoCal jacket with that and after many years the color wears off due to it being leather & died. So my vote is for a dark color like the red & black.

 

I’m no expert but I think all the leather used will be dyed. So after years of use it will just give your jacket some character. What are the colors that’s customary to H.A.M.B. swag? Some of my firewall tags are Red or Black.

I’m a long time lurker & been watching this thread since it started. I love the HAMB style & would LOVE to sport HAMB colors. But I’m halfway into my first build & screwed it all up. My inexperience has inadvertently steered my cars direction away from the HAMB style.

With that said I would feel like a poser sporting HAMB colors. But the patch idea might be good for guys like me…maybe?…pending approval of coarse.

 

The Alliance tag could be done as a "rocker" and if you don't renew, Ryan will personally come and rip the "rocker" off of your jacket!..............Searching now for the "tongue-in-cheek" emoticon.

 

I don’t remember how long I’ve had this jacket, I wear it a lot. Made in [emoji631] USA. Company was called WestArk Liner is cotton, body is nylon& polyester. It’s held up well, good for 3 seasons.

@themoose Nice touch on that last jacket. I like the old school look of that black jacket. I'm not a car club kind of guy. But then again, perhaps I already belong to the biggest car club on the planet.

 

After the excitement wore off. I think 300$ is too much for a sweater. I'll just rock a white T like the old hot rodders of the day and buy some car parts. This jacket will make us look like a car club when we are more than that. We are a community, we are brothers.
And like a great man says on this forum. "Clubs are for seals".

 

I don’t think that any price has been established. I don’t think that we need a $300. Jacket. I’ve had a number of Jackets made for my business over the years, unless it was all leather we hardly went north of $200. That considered, I’m with Bandit Billy, the H.A.M.B. is unique, and I’m with you @Donuts & Peelouts we are a community, when we consider Brotherhoods, well, the only Brotherhood I’ve known is related to my time in Vietnam. When we talk Brotherhood, we talk support of each other and our hobby. This Message board deserves our support. There is strength in numbers, if we all jump in it will less expensive. Support the idea. Support the H.A.M.B. enuff said.
