I haven't heard anybody mention it lately, but I actually have used a couple of the recipes out of the HAMB cook book and they were great. Has anybody else experimented with these yet? If so what's your favorite? I am trying to figure out what to bring to out car club's Christmas party (it is a pot luck) and suggestions would be appreciated. Just keep in mind I have to bring enough for 50-plus people!
Bought one for my wife and one for my daughter for Christmas. Thumbed through it before I wraped it and got a chuckle over some of the directions. "Stick the beer can in the chickens*****".
Damn if it is for thos NC guys, all they need is beer... Got a question for you.. Do you see a slow change over to old cars from the guys that have been around for awhile or they see Head deep into the late model Truck and cars.. I know my Showtime group that are still around and playing with cars have all but switched over to older cars (our Sac area still like their compacts car and trucks) Some of those that have not are working for a Tuner Mag or mini truck mag and some will always roll a mini or compact... Hell it took me forever to finally sell my heap and build something old....
Thanks Courtney! Any chance of getting it in StreetTrucks? Heh heh heh. More sales means mo betta food to work with.. I'm curious to hear what has been tried too. Give me an idea what yer looking to do. You could always quadruple one of meatloaf recipes and bake it in a cake pan. Hotrod30's Cheese beer soup would be good. You could pretend your in Wisconson freezing your***** off while you eat it.
All you fine upstanding men and women of the HAMB should buy a copy of this cookbook if you haven't already! There's enough of us on here, they should be sold out already....it is for a good cause too. Cover is cool, food is good, intro is good, it's a bargain too. Betty Crocker ain't got nuthin on this cookbook!
There sure are some good eats in this book. I have tried Zekes country fried steak w/ cracked pepper gravy, Satinblack58's biscuits and gravy and Samantha's Memphis Meatloaf with the southern glaze. Its hard to pick a favorite all are great recipies. All are really easy to make. Do yourself and the HAMB a favor and get a cookbook.
