Due to work and family issues I probably won't make it there tonight. Looks like I'll be leaving Rolla early am tomorrow. I plan to be in Joplin by 0800. I'll spend a little time around the motel and then out to Ryno's. Hope everyone has a safe trip. I don't leave anyone behind. If you end up on the side of the road I'll stop and try to help. Sam

 

Sittin at Pete and Jake's waiting on my slow *** buddys. Should be drinking a beer at the holiday inn by 3:30 or so.

I had a great time! Got to meet several of the guys who's cars I have admired, and got to catch up with a bunch of friends that I have met over the past couple of years. I didn't watch too much of the racing action, again, because I was too busy looking at cars.

A few of the cars that I was excited to see:
Christopher Hay's '40 sedan
Russco's '40 coupe
Trailer-Ed's '40 sedan delivery
Nick Hoesing's A roadster
the '36 5 window coupes that were running with Nick

Thanks, Ryno, for opening your shop and letting us swing by. Sorry I didn't get to tell you, while I was there, but there was always a crowd around you, and I didn't want to rudely interrupt your conversations!

 

If you "drag" it over to Sweden I'll be coming for sure!
Joking aside, I'd love to come but there's a few miles between us that stops me from coming. I will be there and at the Bonneville flats SOMEDAY!
