No, we actually made it last year after the flood. Aint going to happen this year. How about you Fred?

 

I WILL be there this year, God and the Byooik willing. Just blew a tire bout oh, 45 mins ago, nice and shredded. So yeah, probably will be there with a couple new tires and maybe somethin else.

 

Hell or high water. Wheels and attached auto still up in the air though, probably renting a van.

 

I thought about going as a spectator this year but between fixing the slab on the house and the teeth in my mouth, I am too broke to pay attention much less travel. Maybe next year.

I practiced a little at our local Friday night drags, tonight. It's an 1/8th mile track and my best run was a 10.32 @ 72mph. With the new 302/T5, the 3.00 gears are killin' me, especially running through the traps at the top of second gear!

Joplin will be fun, as usual!

The Indy crew will be there in the big blue bus. We are bringing:

Bubba's hamb dragster
El-Tom-O's fed with a flattie
Scotty's cool little mopar
Yancy's Studebaker Gasser (if he gets the rearend fixed in time) DAMNED KIDS!!!!
I'll be bringing my '63 Galaxie this year. (probably run it in the stock VW class)

Better get her a helmet if she's driving. I think I can take her.

 

I'll be there in the late model pick up so I can haul a customer frame back from Vaphead. Though I must say I did think about strapping it to the roof of the Buick for about 2 seconds.

 

Still up in the air , waiting on parts, if they show early next week I,ll make it. Besides Hotrodlady and I have a date with someone else!!! If I am a no show I have a room at the Ramada or what ever it is called this year!!!

Oh ya Ill be there..despite the Cheaters best attempts to keep me away...lol still not happy about that .

 

I was going up till this week...found out my mom's 75th big birthday bash is ...aug 23!!!!! That's what i get for not helping plan! Gave up my hotel room wed. Man that was hard. Any way you guys have fun!!!!

 

I'll be there in the coupe again. Maybe the Field Car will make it to HAMB Drags '09. There should be a pretty good group of us coming up from Austin this year.

 

Three of us are arriving Saturda morning....we are actually headed to Milwaukee and worked the drags in to the trip. We do plan to stay Saturday night for the beer drinking and lampshade wearing!
The Model A will be ready for next years event.

 

Going to be there in the old black truck. Also a buddy of mine from Sedalia is going to be there in his 57 ford 2-door. Looking forward to it.

I've sold the 41 to him and he is PUMPED about driving it to the drags...

 

Me and Momma Gozt are going to be there. I'm planning to bring my RPU, but I'm thrashing to get it right before we commit to bringing it. Gotta get that damned fuel tank built. Might.... gulp... trailer it so if something happens I've got the trailer close. I'm still shaking the bugs out of it, so that may happen anyway. Plus, I'll have the trailer close to help recover anyone who'd need the help.
