As far as meeting up with like minded hot rodders, there's a good group that meets at Trop & Mountian Vista every Sat at around 7am. After that they head out for B-fast
i used to live over that side of town... i may have seen them before. if they're interested in a good cruise you should talk them into heading over to jones and russell to the 50's diner. i know a lot of you are headed out to cali for the show this weekend, but we'll be there at the 50's diner for who ever wants to come meet up

Not sure when we'll be in Chicago... we are getting married here in Vegas in October (the weekend of the Rockabilly Rave) so we are trying to save for that right now... The HAMB and eggs here has kind of simmered out sadly. I'm not sure why. But we are going to try and bring it back to life once we get everything else squared away. We had to take the 54 back from the painter... he wasn't working on it at all, he had it a total of 11 weeks and did almost nothing and what he did do was more harm than good. So we are back to square one and out $700. Oh well... it seems to be the norm with folks in the automotive industry, chromers and painters alike! How about you guys? How are things back there? I hear the weather aint too fair. I try not to complain that it's 108 outside when I consider I could be under flood waters. I hope we will see you guys before then, but I am so glad you'll be here for Viva. This time we can get together for more than just the bbq at home! Take care & please keep in touch! Our Chicago breakfast has slowed down abit too. But, there has always been at least one person there for breakfast. I know its Summer, and there is alot of events going on. We just returned from The Road Rocket Rumble in Indy. We had a great time BTW. Sorry to hear about the car. Is that the same car that had the board game under the seat? We are booked for Viva for 2009. We are going to the Hunnert in Oct. The Bombers have a show in August, that will problay be an overnighter. Its in East Peoria, IL. Back to the Top, I've been going to a Vegas get together every Sunday at 8:00am-10:00am at Jones and Craig rd. It's the Northwest side of town and about 80 cars show every week. I know a few HAMBers are there so we should do breakfast right after. Brick
