    Hey Breeder,
    It was this thing.

It was part of Cincinnati's "Big Pig Gig".

Good morning America showed it for a few seconds.

I just noticed that in this pic, someone has stolen the Mercedes symbol out of the nose.

    That figures.

    :D

Oh well, I didn't get paid enough to give a damn. :D

  5. That's one of those Pigways I've been reading about,

  8. I've written a few mag spreads a couple on HAMBers but I've never ever been enshrined in one. Don't expect that will ever happen either.

My 55 Olds was in NZ rodder way back when they first started out as a little pages mag which was real cool, weird thing here is it seems the unusual gets less attention then another 1/2 dozen plastic 32's I had a good friend with a 56 Olds hard top and a very nice 34 Nash coupe and I don't think either of them got any mag time.
Another time I spent a morning with the car shooting a music video, looked like it would come out real cool, kind of dark 50's breakfast at Tiffinays deal, unfortunatly it can't have mad the chop with the record company as the song came out with a much happier (disjointed didn't work with the sone) video..... still I got paid pretty well and my daughter got a pic with the star :)

Had some of my artwork in the Showcase section of Street Rodder a few times. Does that count?

  17. I was lucky enough to have my 47 featured in Street Scene and Northern Rodder as well as a local Connecticut based magazine.

As well as several "show shots" in various mags

Thanks. The article isn't really about the car. More about who I am and why I gave it to my son. When he took my picture,I didn't think he would put it in the magazine. I'm not appealing at all. I've got alot of positive feedback though. Except for Dreadman trying to embar***e me at the Primer Nat's,asking for my autograph. People come up to me,that recognize me from the mag and say "hey Bob!". I'm just polite, and say hi. It's cool.

My heap's not worthy but I've shot a few HAMBers' cars for mags; BFD, 2 of 50Fraud's, Glen, Axle, ElPolacko, TV & Groucho off the top of my head. Also shot a HAMBer car for a Mr Clean ad that made it into Popular Mechanics, Rolling Stone, Nat'l Geographic, etc.

The Studebaker build up was in Hot Rod Mechanix July/August 1989. Thanks Tex! I even got a ByLine on that one. A couple of tech articles also over the years.
