too easy. 17 of 17. might have been different if it was not multiple guess I'm suprised so many missed the T bird valve covers on the Y block. guess you guys are not swap meet scroungers and ebay sellers... you'd know T bird Valve covers go for big bucks and would be able to spot a pair at 6:00 AM from 100 yards with only one eye open waiting for your coffee to kick in.
16 of 17 . Missed the Mopar 360. Dizzy at the back threw me. Oh well! Took this same test over on Fordmuscle. The engines were different. Missed a couple on that on that one . GM's I think. I'm a Fod guy.
17/17 but will admit I could have missed the W engine 348/409 if Coldwar had not have mentioned it. To tell the diff between early Olds Caddy I look for the fuel pump mounted up front on top. The Olds has a breather in that spot. The Pontiac engine was a little tuffer since it had some plates above the headers. The Pontiac timing cover and balancer are a give away. Glad I spent all those years prowling the engine piles at the junk yards. Time well spent. Cool Quiz.
I got 17 for 17, I admit I took a guess on the 348, figured they wouldnt double up on a 409 since they already had 1 question on that one......
