Folks Of Interest HAMB Gathering this weekend at the Spectacular

I know a lot of you will be going to Salina Kansas to attend the Spectacular. Would you like to start having the HAMB Gathering again. Would be a kool get together and at least take a picture?

I wasn't planning on going this year because it has been 108*, but they are saying the high is like 82. That never happens....I may have to rethink.

 

I’m still undecided...as usual. I rarely plan more than a few hours ahead of time.

 

Sounds like we are gonna hafta p***…..too many irons in the fire.

 

Damn, I wish I could have made it! Too many family weddings all over the US, for another trip!

It took almost both hands to count the turnout. Oddly, 42% of them were named "Bill".

There was some "remember when" conversation about past HAMB meet and greets when there would be 60 or more individuals show up for the group shot.

 

Oh man…..bummer.

 

Don't knock small beginnings.

Its been a while since I've heard of HAMB Meet & Greets at car shows, it took a few years at some places before they caught on the first time. Sometimes it takes a few times before the guys remember.

 

Wish I could have made it, but decided this is my year to head to the salt flats in a few days.

 

sounds to me like most stayed home.

 

I'm guessing that there isn't near the number of folks on here regularly as there was in the past. I know lots of the HAMB regulars from years ago that rarely even log on any more to know about something like a HAMB gathering.

 

As soon as we get the film developed I'll share them.
The Gathering was small but we still had a good time. It made me want to change my name to Bill.
