    Surprised you didn't go $400.01... cheap****e...

This is to raise money for Ryan, not get you a project cheap.

I'm going to watch this one, and outbid you at the end just to be a ****. [IMG]

Wow... Now thats the HAMB spirit! You go girl!
Man I'm not trying to be a cheapskate. I just don't have much money. The HAMB is all about people helping eachother out and building up cars with our own hands, and alot of the time on the cheap. The HAMB auctions benifit 2 people. Ryan to help run the HAMB and the poeple who win the auction who usually get a good deal on somethng cool. I'm not being a cheapskate, I just can't afford much. So you go ahead and be a **** if you want. Thats fine. My life will go on just fine without this truck.

Wow, now don't you go getting yourself in credit trouble being a *** about all this...sure would hate to see ya go broke.

With that at***ude you sure you don't buy turn key rods just to out do everyone?

A nice "sorry for my comment" would be a good thing...right now you look like a jerk and that ain't what this is supposed to be about...to me you are reading stuff into comments and running up onto a high ground based on at***ude.

    Have a nice one. [IMG]

(and go ahead and attack me, it is what I expect)

  5. Play nice boys. Take your arguments away from this thread.

Now back to our regularly scheduled auction, please.

OldCarPilot should really get this project. His wife has been wanting to build one of these trucks for a long time now. And when I say his wife want's to build one of these... that means that she's going to be doing a lot of the work with help from us.

The girl is awesome and a true member of THEM! Good luck Mike!

OCP if you get the lil' hauler , I have a piece or two for AD Chevy pick-ups. Lemme know what cha need .

  15. OK...I can't believe this thing isn't double where it is now. If I didn't have 3 truck projects going, I'd be all over this.

So here's the deal......If someone is man or woman enough to double the current bid, I'll throw in some stuff to help make the front end a roller. I'll ship at my expense a USED but REBUILDABLE set of mustang II upper and lower control arms, spindles, rotors, and power rack. All you need to do is buy the crossmember and the front is rolling. If it crosses $1000, I'll throw in a USED, complete, drum to drum, 8" Ford rear with 3.50 gears out of a '66 Ranchero but you have to pay your own shipping. This truck could be a full roller in NO TIME!!!!

    Lets get the bids going!!!

the winner is 410.01 by oldcarpilot.
you have got yourself a new project! hope the wife likes it.
as soon as ryan gives me the word it's yours to pick up. get ahold of jerry for your 1\4 gl***es and study hotwheels offer on the parts. it's a great deal on all the parts to make a roller. best of all it would help the hamb out even more.

  18. Oldcarpilot, If you send Ryan an extra $300, I'll meet you in Waco with the parts. Now that is a deal you cannot refuse.

    <font color="green">HHHHHHHhhhhmmmmmmmm,

    I've been thinking,

and that's NEVER a good thing.

Since this IS to raise money for the HAMB,

And OldCarPilot IS a standup guy,

He IS a stand up guy, right?

How bout those who can spare $25. pitch in to make up the other $300.?

Help the HAMB and help OldCarPilot get on the road?

I had to bale out of the auction cuz I'm buying/selling a home and I have a good lead on my dream car/truck.

    A 59 Elky.

    So what you all say?

    Come on peeps,

All we need is 12 guys to send RYAN $25. and OldCarPilot gets all the extra goodies.

  23. Rash, I like the idea too! I know there are at least 12 of us that get more than $25 worth of value from this message board.

Well I at the start of all of this I was going to have my higest bid at $500. I didn't really think that I would actually win with that bid, but that was about as high as I could go. So I'll raise the winning bid to $500. I will see if I can get some more together too. We too just bought a house and there are quite a few minor money eating issues that popup when you get your own home!
    Thanks everyone for the support!

Brings the grand total upto $525.

I'm in for $25 to get another car in the club. Besides, if
I sell my truck I want to have one near by to borrow.

    <font color="green">

    + $300.00 Debt
    - $25.00 RASHY
    - $25.00 Flt-blk
    - $100.00 OldCarPilot

    150.00 remaining balance.

Now, if we can come up with the $300. without OldCarPilot's extra $100., he would have some money left to do something on the truck.
