While reading through the 'Thoughts on the HAMB' thread a few names came up of HAMBers present and past, so I did a search to see if I could find a thread on legendary HAMBers, but could not find anything specific. Apologies if this subject has been covered before. As a relative FNG (only been on here a year, but lurked for longer), it seems that there are some legendary HAMBers whose names come up frequently in other HAMBer's posts. I am not talking about legends from racing who are on here or anything like that - but purely HAMB hardcore people. People who exemplify the HAMB spirit. I'll exclude Ryan from this listing because he IS the HAMB. Here are a few examples I see - and I have missed many: Germ, HAMBandy, Bluto, 3W Larry, Bruce Lancaster, BadBob, Hotrodladycrusr, Doc Watson, Kiwi Kev, Royalshifter, Kirk! This is just a random sampling from my perspective. So who do you think are HAMB legends? How about if there were a HAMB Hall of Fame - who would you vote for? Name yours ....
just because someone has no life and spends all their time here blabbing incoherently about nothing, and runs up a large post count, and becomes an old school hambr member in a short time period doesn't mean they're a legend......wait...
Ironhunter, 286merc and of curse Nads, always one of my favorites. I think most of the old timers still read but rarely post anymore.
Enjenjoe, Tommy, Racefab, Skidmarks, AHotRod...these are just some of the legendary dudes who will know whatever it is you're wondering, and will answer your questions...making them truly invaluable! For fun, friendship and foolery on da HAMB? That list could be endless...but Sam F, 4T64RD, DIRTYT, Plowboy, Hot Rod To Hell, Johnnycola, Tuck, Brandy and Jdubya come quickly to mind! (With appologies to the hundreds I didn't name!) Hell, this place is chock FULL o' legends, Man!!!
Do you guys remember Rocky's adventures with the Rambler at the first HAMB drags ? I remember checking that thread every day as the story and pictures were posted.
Don't forget Mr. "Conduit" BOBBLEED. Also, alot of the HAMB alliance vendors have been here a while.......
i think we all have groups of friends who are our legendary folks. nosurf, the guy who made the most from nothing. bob k, who gave me and becky crocker a ride back from the springfield swap when nosurf said i couldnt ride back with him even though i rode there with him... leadsledmerc, who builds more cars than i can count av8paul, who has the only car i would actually steal and not feel guilty about, if only he didn't own it. there are soooooo many. i could go on for days.
good list so far id say, jerry, he's always in the middle of helping someone with something, and of course artist, Mc Phail, and weesner.
Did we make it this far without mentioning the guy who has been here since before the HAMB started????? Ryan.

Legends? The regular guys who actually show what they have done with their own hands using tools we all can afford.I learn a lot from them.Some guys are quick witted ,some have vast knowlegde it seems,but can or do they use the tools?Of course not everyone has the talent or a physical ability to build their own stuff and that's fine.
Is there a more loved individual then Denise HOTRODLADYCRUISER? I have never met anyone that did not love her and she always has something informative to say. Also she is responsible for the best show coverage as well as being the HAMB Meet & Greet spokesperson. Viva La Denise, you win the big cheese award from me.
Someone finally mentioned "FATHACK" ,But what about "HANKCASH" He was(is) my favorite ,still around, just not as controversial.... There are many who THINK they are legends.
There's alot of cool helpful people here. I'm surprised no one mentioned brianangus yet. And I think Rashy is the only one that has a nickname for his Hamb name...
