hamb meet @ btt50s?

hey guys,

to further my drive to get this beast on the road i figured id start a post about the annual hamb meet and great at btt50s in a couple weeks.

sometime saturday sounds good to me but lets see what youve all got to say about it

~side note still looking for some one to convoy with for any part of the trip, im taking 77 from lincoln to sioux city and then 60 threw mankato to the citys, leaving thursday afternoon.


im preety sure you all know what my car looks like by now also, feel free to come say hi if you see me roll by ill have a little hamb decal in my quarter windows.

 

Let's do it where there is some shade.Last year it was out in the open sun everybody was cooking!I'll be parked on the south side of the horse barn there's alot of shade there.Anybody got a map of the fairgrounds they can post?

South side of the horse barn,south west corner of the fairgrounds on Judson Ave. Usually is space for parking if you do'nt want to walk. I'll have something hanging on a tree so you know where it's at.Sat 2:00 how's that sound?

 

I could probably make that. I **** at directions though, so a map would be handy...

 

I'm new to HAMB but been on the planet a long time. It'l be fun to meet a few folks. See ya there.

Anyone going solo? I could use a ride in there. I need to pick up a set of tires at coker(for my new project). I sold my model-A last week. Oh yeah I like to drink beer. I can bring a good supply

 

Sounds good- D17,Thats down by the barns,showers + the So. camping entrance isn't it ? I'll be the w the parts some of you bought + the 46 if it don't break down .

 

Would like to be there , but I'm woorking gates 11:00 to 3:00 so if its after 3:00 I'll be there with Mrs. Jalopy ( unfortunaly on foot this year mothing finished )

 

Why don't we just stake a claim to the area and use it as a HOME base?happens all over the fair grounds by other clubs , we are a club kinda right? That way no matter what day/what time someone will be there or will be soon

oh yeah, ill prolly have a hamb decale or something in my quarter windows also

 

i will try to be there, will be driving the 57 this year. hamb decal in the back window by my lost in the 50's sticker, and a USMC sticker on the trunk.

 

Looking forward to meeting some members of the HAMB Club.

Current ride isn't exactly a trad rod but is reliable transportation. May be a couple of years before the coupe hits the road.

Question, what is the best gate to come into the fairgrounds?
