Dang, I missed that he p***ed. I was wondering when he wasn't around on this and another forum.

 

I have buried my head in the sand when it comes to this thread. This is the 1st time in probably 3 months that I have opened it, just afraid I'll lose another friend. Bad enough it seems weekly someone posts on our high school FB group that someone I remembered from school has p***ed & I AIN'T that damn old!

When I first joined the H.A.M.B. back in 2019, Mike was one of the first people I got in touch with.

Being that I am from the A****er area, his user name caught my attention right away.

When he moved to A****er, for a while he worked at E&H Garage, this was the same garage that I worked at as a kid, sweeping the floors, and running the hot tank and the steam rack.

I always enjoyed reading anything that he posted, he was a very unique person who was highly qualified in all facets of the automotive world.

Aussie Steve Dowsett, known on the HAMB as WiredSpider p***ed away at his home in Clarksville Tn. 10/24/2025. Steve was a transplanted Australian who had lived and built hot rods in California, Colorado, and Tennessee. He was a walking encyclopedia of traditional hot rods and the people who built, drove, and raced them. He was a great friend, often traveling companion, and will be missed but never forgotten.

THE Peter Pan from Chicago? It always feels like folks like that will just live forever. I am sorry for the loss not only to you, but the loss to the world as a whole.
