anyone know what year teeth and is that a stock merc bumper?

That's a stock bumper and I think the teeth are '53 DeSoto,maybe '52.

 

yeah i was thinking '53...i was going to run a '54 chevy front bumper but man this looks sooooooooooo good

The engine compartment on Mercury Charlie's Merc has more custom-work involved than other people do on their whole cars.Gary Howard is truly one talented guy with an awesome eye.The '49/'50 "look-a-like" grille built with '51 grille parts is just great and the front bumper is a work of art so is the whole Mercury.Just the interior and motor itself are a bit overdone for my taste but otherwise phenomenal car,just my humble opinion.I wanted to have a '51 air dam real bad for my '49 when I saw this pic for the first time.Adds lots of flow to the engine compartment...nice !
