Great grill pictures Bob. List any known details with the pictures. I can't name all those grills , I bet you can ! We can do mirrors , bumpers , lights , etc ... I'll post some grills .

This thread never really took off like it could . I'd like to see it expanded on here. Different styles ,everything from piller angle , drip rails , rear windows , panel blending , quarter windows etc... I like when the small differences are pointed out by the trained eye.

 

Bob , What grill is this ?? I've always liked this car . It also looked great when it was grey. Even under construction its one of my favorite interiors .

Here's mine from 2002 when it arrived from Winfield's. It's been completely apart since then so I don't have any updated overall views. It now has got a louvered hood and deck lid, corvette grill, MONSTER size custom skirts, 6.70/15's with 2.25 inch whitewalls, candy purple steelies with trim rings and spidercaps. Hopefully it will be assembled again and in hot rod black primer by this fall.

 

You are already on the list! But I didn't know you had a '53 too! I'll add that one to the count...

 

How's the strength and quality of the body? Looks great!!!

 

That was always my plan! I've got a couple thousand pic's,so it will take time. Plus NOW I have to take a pic of EACH detail on every Merc I see,LOL....Give me some time...i'll get it going!

 

I know the car but have NO idea what the grill is!

Quality of the body is good. It's all hand layed up. Nearly ALL of the work has been getting the structure where it needs to be. You know... package tray, interior wood, hinge posts, B posts, cowl. Thanks for the Kudos.

 

I'm in! Close to being on the road!
