    I actually have a 51 merc..in the middle of flipping the uprights...and would consider joining, but I'm afraid I would bust my fat ass doing that dance....

    Count me in. I traded my 63 Caddy ragtop a few months ago, and ended up with a 51 Merc 4dr as part of the change. It still has the flat motor in it, but hasn't been on the road for quite awhile, but has been stored inside for 16 years.

    Stock '49 Merc! At one time I was considering putting the hood ornament and letters back on,cause I wanted a semi-custom look. Slddnmatt talked me out of it.

    Yea,but the letters without the hood bird would look funny,I think. I sold the letters anyways,hahaha!

    I really liked the look of the front of this Merc when I saw it years ago...
