Customs HAMB Merc Club! who's in?????

hey bob,both of my mercs are 51 coupes,the one in my avatar is what i am working on,and the other one is just a complete body and some trim nothing else...

Sounds good to me. Here's my 49 Merc hardtop,also have 53 with a
60 Caddy in it.-------------

Kool I was talking about your Merc the other day....We were talking about Kustoms
that we hadn't seen in a while. I brought yours up. I think it was it at the Merc Deuce
Reunion that I saw it and hadn't seen it since?? Glad the sled is still running around
& its kool that it belongs to a HAMBer.

Yea,the first 50 came from memory,then the rest are guys who I didn't even know had Mercs! Almost at 80 HAMBers!!!!! Many with more than one car!!! That's so cool...

A few of the years I had wrong,so I had to tune up the list,LOL...

 

But still...man, you are a die hard!

For some reason, Ether's Merc and Flamedabone's (sold) Merc are in a constant state of confusion for me. Both top notch work...but I keep mixing them up.

I need to plan another trip out to Cali and get a ride in the "Merc that didn't exist" back when I was in town...

I was just checking out your pic's. Love the Coupe! Do you still have your Merc?

 

Yeah, I still have it. I have had it since 1986.

 

I'm in with a '50 coupe...that is VERY rusty. It came with a '51 four door floorpan with no rust, so I'll build it around that whenever I get around to it. I want to do a loose clone of the Bettancourt Merc with a chop like the Sam Barris and Wally Welch Mercs...about 4" with a straight B post. It will have a '56 Caddy motor/trans. If anybody has a nice set of original '49-'50 rear quarter panels, please let me know; they could be coupe or sedan as I can lengthen the sedan ones.
