Here is a picture of my 4 door progress, even tho most are not into pro-street, hold the bad comments to a minimum. With the sides on, unless you bend down to look underneath, you cant even tell its prostreeted. 520 ci, all ford, blower, 5 speed lenco,1000 hp, getting ready to chop the roof then start the cage, Mustang II front end, power rack, power steering pump is on the crank off a 69 lincoln, air, cruise, power windows, electric doors, hydraulic tilt steel front end.

    Project started 9/17/09

I have the skirts and will use them. The plan is to be driving it by end of April, drive train is all done, even have electric dumps for open headers at a flick of a switch. The roof is the next thing, undecided, looking at pics both ways, but the car is pretty low right now on it wheels, around 5 ft to the top of the roof. Ill know more when I get my seats and steering column in today how much room I have.

Just got my seats, Chrysler 300, have 9" above my head sitting in the car with the seat in the highest position. Minz 2" when I put the cage in , so I still up in the air about cutting.

Count me in! Can't believe I just now found this thread! I'm on my way to the social group page right now to join. I've had a '39 coupe since '99. Done a frame off and added a Fat Man coil over front, a Chassis Engineering leaf spring rear, and opened up the center of the frame and made lot's of chassis mods. Also put the body on a rotisserie to rebuild the botttom. Still working it. I'll post some pics later.

  25. count me in, new to the h.a.m.b. board and havent figuired out how to post pics yet but i have a 1961 mercury monarch all original, paint included 352 3 on the tree ,original sales bill.
