Roof cut off, tubbed, working on firewall then cage mounts. Thinking of just using 2 doors, weld the back 2 closed after lining them up. No real back seat. could use a fuel door if anybody has one.

 

Waste of a Merc, even if it is a 4 door....

 

If you're gonna do all that work to it,just fill in the fuel door! Looks better filled in...

 

I just didnt want to open the trunk to put gas in it, plus I have all the stuff to fill the fuel cell remote.

Ive been running around getting quotes to get just the bodywork done since Ive got a painter lined up. Can I just say ""HOLY SHIT""!!!!!!! Im not looking for a freebee by any means but I think im in the wrong business!!!!!

 

bodywork is where all the labor's at!!! ill be doing the 51 im eventually putting up forsale, and i always realize when i start, that a merc is a DAMN BIG CAR!!

 

Great I will be in line April 1.... Wait a minute this isn't the biggest April fools day trick ever......... LOL.. Just kidding.....

 

No joke! If they come out sooner,i'll let everyone know...Right now...I have the only one!!!

Thanks again for taking me to the anti-donut on Feb. 13th; that was a blast. I can't remember if I ever signed up for the merc club, but if not, please add me to the list. As you know, my merc is at slddnmatt's and he is one bad ass builder. If anyone is on the fence on who to use to build their merc, he is a solid choice.
