I have two "Mercs". Not the lead sled variety but more modern stuff like a 64 Comet and a 61 Meteor wagon (marketed by Mercury but really a Ford with different trim)

I've got a 55 merc convertible on the way but it's not a keeper for me. I've got a 54 Ford that was grafted to a 52 merc that's a glasstop that I probably will keep.

Hi Bob, Hope this works right this time. Had my first 51 in 1955. Still love em!! Photos are current projects, complete cars and parts stash. NO PARTS FOR SALE! There are a lot more pictures of my cars on the Rikster's site under Paul Bragg. Metal work is complete on the 50 hardtop and the 54. Hope to start paint and finish by fall. This is what happens when you keep piling up stuff for 50 years. See ya! Tinguy

Hey Paul, your collection is incredible- and so is your talent!

I figured I couldn't comment in here without joining, so I guess I will add my name to the merc roster with this future project...anybody have a set of quarter panels for sale? I have everything else to piece it back together...but it is years down the road...other projects have priority...

Paul, you have a fine collection of cars.Saw your 51 rag in Davenport at the KKOA Spectacular, and your green 50 in Holland,Michigan.

Plumb, you did something that a lot of guys don't do.You kept the stock dash in your car.I think the 50-51 dash is gorgeous. Why guys change to put a 49 dash in is beyond me.Like they say in Italian,"Salsicc isown"Just my opinion.Take it for whats it worth

Paul -- Great to see you posting your pictures. Everybody enjoys
hearing about your projects, but seeing them posted by the Tinguy is extra special. You are true master of your craft -- both in
    design and workmanship.
Hope you and Pat can make it to Saline, KS in July.

Just to let everyone know.....Lincoln Premiers appear not to fit my '52 Mercury wheels. Seems like the teeth are not nearly long enough to grab the wheel. Next up epoxy and trim rings....I'm going to get those fucker's on the car if it's the last thing I do!!!!

  25. HAHAHA! I guess it's like Sombreros....Same deal!
