Customs HAMB Merc Club! who's in?????

10 months to get to this point, 520 ci blown, all ford 1000 hp, 5 sp lenco, air, power windows, doors, tubbed, caged, ps pb grocery getter. wet sanding for the winter months.

 

That's one odd looking Merc! Obviously it was a 4dr. No rear window? Will it be just for racing,or will you driving it on the streets too?

 

its just for the street, not at all interested in taking it to the track. Under the rear plate, there is a camera and on the roll cage on the inside above the steering wheel is a 4 x 6 screen, it has really good vision also.

if you cant see it, the plate says LOTAWRK

I'm in with my '51 mordoor. By the look of that list some of those guys should "spread the wealth around". ;-)

 

here's my recently aquired 51 merc named "The Keeper" she was stock in appearance when i got her but now more of a period looking mild Kustom.
next some trim is getting shaved and some subtle body mods

Just got back from shopping, I couldn't take it any more had to get some 7.10 x 15 goodyears for the Merc. Man I'm in love with it now!!!! Funny how the right tire makes that much difference....... Love it!!!!

The new Whites look way too kool, and it does make a difference. Although I wish that
you hadn't posted the pics, two weeks ago I just talked myself out of buying Bias ply
for the Merc. Well Jerry, guess what I'm thinking about now. Bias ply / Radial thoughts
have started again. Thanks LOL!!

It is kool how that fender hugs the white wall, Your Merc looks Kick Ass kool!

Some progress on my project "Woody"

 

The new Whites look way too kool, and it does make a difference. Although I wish that

for the Merc. Well Jerry, guess what I'm thinking about now. Bias ply / Radial thoughts
have started again. Thanks LOL!!

Thanks Mick.. I been wanting Bias tires for a while now and like you I would talk my self out of it.. My Diamond backs only had six thousand miles on them. But when I seen the pictures of Jeff merc. on here with 7.10 on it. I new what I had to do.. Man did I sleep good last night.. Peace at last... Life is good!!!!!!!!!

 

I'm glad that one of the Mercury bruthas is sleeping. I'm going to be restless tonight
thinking over and over "gotta be lool like Jerry". LOL! I don't know if I have the room
for them. This winter I plan on getting a couple of 15 x 6 wheels for the front to help
with my width issue. For now I 'm going to just photo shop them on mine. Looks good

Ya caps are back on it now.. My rims are all scrape up from changing hubcaps too much.. Good luck with your woody!!!! Wait that didn't sound right..lol

So far real good. Only have drove it about 50 miles so far. Will no for sure after the weekend.

Jeff's Merc makes many of us re-think our Mercs....Everytime I see his interior,it makes me want to cry!!!

 

So true.When I talked to Kiwi about Jeff's interior he said he wanted to do something special since it was Dick Deans last chop.

 

Wish I could be in but my daily driver 04 don"t fit OT. just had a friend show up @15 + yr on a HD Glide Black & Chrome With dirty wide whites on it !!! Pointed to my 56 Dodge & my 53 Ford With 40 yr old whites on them & Said You are not leaving until they are WHITE Was I wrong ? After i got out the brush & soap he said see ya. Looked good setting at my shop Wont have it any other way Larry
