I think that's a good idea!I would use white to pick up the interior color,a little at the nose and a bit around the headlight rings would look classy and of course throw a bit on the deck lid. The key with a car like this is to use subtle fine line designs that compliment the cars natural lines where as not to take away from an already timeless design. My Merc is striped in that way and it adds alot, when it is repainted It will get the same treatment!LESS= MORE My.02 cents

  5. what i mean is its not a full custom. Its mild at best shaved handles frenched antt lowered thats about it .your car looks great bob with the chop and and the pinstripping compliments the flow of the body its just that on a pretty much stock merc i think simple pin stripping would look best. what do u guys think? what would u guys do?im open 2 suggestions fire away

  6. I don't like pinstriping but I have some very particular views about it.

ok here are a couple updates on mine eevn though shes on the road.
removed side trim rocker trim and front stone gaurds, got a lot of holes to fill!
and had a custom visor made At Moore's Hot Rods here is a pic with it mocked up on the car, It is not as obstructive or clumsy looking as alot of visors and i really thrink it goes with the roofline well! next mods will be gettin rid of the hood ornament, decking the rear, and getting her in sealer for the winter.the car has no rust and has never been repainted.I thginks she's gonna make a nice mild Kustom.

  21. Thanks guys, It is a custom color. Took a TON of sprayouts to get it right. The pics dont do it justice. I wanted a maroon that didnt turn too purple or brown in the shade. The paint dang near looks like a candy! Brian Puckett NAILED it!

  24. Ah paint jail, lots of fun.

I'll take and post some pics in a couple of weeks, I'd like to have the glass in for those pics otherwise the car basically looks the same.
