Hey Guys!! I had a great time at my first KKOA event. Even better was the HAMB Mercury gathering. I would like to thank SrayKat and all of the others...names that I can not remember!! for a good time. Wish I would have spent more time talking to everyone...but being my first event...I spent hours walking all over the place in order to take everything in. The poster and dash plaque will find a place of honor in my rec room and will be taken around to my local cruise'n. Maybe I can rev up a few guys to build some customs!! A GREAT BIG THANK YOU TO THE POSTER AND PLAQUE MAKERS!! This time...."Everybody was there...including..."Little Skeet"
Yes, Thanks to everyone! My first time too. It was Great! Thanks Denise & Megan for the ride around going topless....
Wish I could have gone, but financially,it wasn't gonna happen! Wish someone would have taken pic's of JUST the Mercs......
Indeed Bad Bob! I miss your lens! The 51 Merc is back home in NorCal; slddnmatt did a great job. -chopnweld
If someone will show me how to upload a batch of pics at one time....I will post the pics I took of the Mercurys. Thanks Little Skeet
Thanks Skeet for the kind words and I'm glad to hear that you had a good time. We had a few no shows and that was fine I understand that stuff happens.... Lot of kool Merc show'd this year and it was kool to see so many young guys driving Mercs. Kustoms are alive and well! I was very happy with the turn out and didn't make the 70 mark that I wanted to hit but we had to be close. Ron Myers and Ben Mitchell did the art work on the posters and plaques and B-Scott Studios printed the plaques for us. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be able to giveaway the kool stuff.... I wish that you could have made it out Bob, I understand the Finances thing, that is why I missed the real Merc Gathering. My Camera died on me and it wasn't the batteries. I left it in the Merc Friday and something must have melted... Hopefully, Little skeet can email the pics to me and I'll post them. Happy Trails, Mick
Set up a photobucket account (www.photobucket.com) it's free and easy...then you can post the pix you want...instead of letting someone else choose... R-
more rob'd from other HAMBers... The last picture, you can see a pale yellow Merc that was kool,. real mild but I liked the changes that were done..... Hopefully Little Skeet can get them posted or Emailed them too me, more pics tomorrow.
I was there but missed the HAMB meet and greet.I didn't know what time it was going to happen.I was walking around checking out all the cool Kustoms and found out later I missed it,DAMM.Oh well next year!I did get to meet a few Hamb members though.
Displaced_kiwi posted this really nice 40's styled 1941 Mercury.. .and I have been waiting for more photos to show up of this car... but so far nothing. Anybody took more photos of this one?
I've been looking for more pics, This was hiding and a lot o guys over looked it. I asked Jim Baker if he saw it, we walked over and about died checking it out. It was in Rodder's Journal a few issues ago. Very kool ride...
I think I figured out how to down load the pics....hope you enjoy them. "Wasn't anybody there except me and Little Skeet !"
It was my first time there and I had a Good Time! Met some great people , can`t wait till the next one.
My favorite Doc Holiday quote...."Say when". I had a blast and I appreciate Titus letting us do it. If you guys want to do it again next year, I'll try to save more area so we can get more Mercs together. We need to do it again because I have a killer idea for a giveaway idea.... Thanks for posting the pics Skeet. Happy Trails, Mick
