Finally went forwards instead of back.

Front axle, bones, and spring are settled.

Decided to make the steering pose able.

  4. Here's what I am going with, an old AMT Vicky body modified to fit the Revell frame with the flat head from the 132 sedan with Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland Ardun conversion and S.C.O.T. blower, and of course their stock style firewall and grille shell/radiator, will probably also use one of there quick change rear axles and modify the frame with a model A rear cross member from a Revell Model A. for inspiration check my fotki album of my built `32 Fords

  7. My home made stock firewall and the flathead. More pictures in the H.A.M.B. model builders forum related to the deuce contest...
(Note the big gash the thick fingered builders put in the paint while test fitting the engine.)

Got a little done. I dont like it! I think I am loosing motivation! I got my full scale roadster sitting out in the garage/driveway and I am spending a lot more time on the real deal!

...I hope to get the little one done, cause I know I will get the big one finished! :D

I think Im going in a different direction...full fenders! Hum! Maybe?
I think this is a good stance. The problem is the front is 4 scale inches forward...so I gotta add 4" to the running boards! OUCH! The top is chopped about 4"!

BUMP for the last minute thrashers, per the thread in the modelers group and luciomduran he will be taking pics till Monday......

.......but that wont help me, still way too much to do, I thought this ended June 30th........DOH!!!

Well here is my mock-up any whoo.......
Can you say HAWAIIAN STYLE.....supposed to get hi-gloss black paint, white and tan interior, and white top. Channeled over frame rails, rear fenders bobbed and moved up on quarters, radiator chopped, but grill shell left stock height. Well when I finish it up, I will post up some more pics.

Gonna be a good build off...I can feel it!

  21. Hope you're right Neal. I was hoping for a dozen or better entries. Seems lots of people have
a lot on their plates and models go back in the box on a shelf... Hope Lucio has been inundated, this week end, with entries.

  22. ok heres some pics of my entrys i dont wire/plumb and im not a pro

    a little bout the pair

the green one is basically out of the box with a few added things like the 409 out of amts 58 impala pie crust slicks from the new amt tire set and tube rear bumper and lake pipes from my spare parts box

the blue one is a comp coupe with a blown 392 from the big john willys wheels/tires from a polar lights funnycar scratch built exhaust bug catcherand ladder bars from mpcs 57 chevy flip nose the body/grille shell have been sectioned about 21/2 scale inches maybe a bit more the grille shell has also been extended and made the gille hooded

heres some pics well i have to post alink what the hell is a security token? and why am i missing it?

  23. Not seeing any pics... is it just me?

    ...get off yur asses

  25. I should'a waited a couple seconds... The cars look cool 57ford/60thunderbird.

Neal, love the mill, the whole car is bad to the 'bones.' I didn't have time or energy to run all the plumbing
    and wiring yet.

Here's a sneak peak at mine, I'll post all photos in a thread or album once the voting begins so there is a
link for voters to go to and really view my entry:
