I've seen T-shirts & decals - would there be any interest in a HAMB patch? I have a contact who does custom embroidered patches at reasonable rates. Last set of patches I had done was a batch of 50 four color original design & it was about $3/patch. If there's enough interest, I could have them made up with the red background/white letters H.A.M.B logo.

    Let me know.

$3 for four color? How big? If they are about the size of the flag ones you see, I'm in for a couple.

We oughtta make HAMB hats out of 'em....so we'll know each other at cruises, swaps, drags and bars!

If Ryan is cool with the patch project, of course! [IMG]

Well, that answers the interest question - not 25 minutes & a lot of interest. I had planned on getting Ryan's blessing, but it was a chicken & egg game.

Just to give you an idea of what I got for $3/patch for 50 - here's a pic of what I had made up - it was about 3" in diameter - it was for one of my former units.

There's a place in San Jose that sells those gas station jacket name patches for pretty cheap...couple/few bucks... whatever name/lettering you want...I'm pretty sure they discount in quantity as well...

They can do the O.G. ovals, or even rectangular or square ones in a few different sizes... I'll look into getting some really basic ones sewn up...if anybody's into it that is...

Or if you wanted to, you could have a H.A.M.B. patch on one side of your jacket, and your screen name on the other side...

just another take on the original good idea...

I like the shift pattern idea. I'm not a patch guy but that is a cool logo. It's also, less likely to piss off the HAMC. I know I've gotten some dirty looks from women in the grocery store when they see the Ol red and white HAMB shirt.

Dude, lets not bring up the tired subject of the HAMC vs. HAMB again...

If they even cared, they would have spoken up in the last few years I'm sure...

we aren't even 'motorcycle' related... dig..??

I'm sure those dirty looks you got were cuz you're just a dirty car dude...
not because of a red and white colored t-shirt...
most normal people don't even know of the correlation anyways...

I guess you are probably right, Snacky, I never thought of it before it was brought up the last time, either. You're probably right, it was most likely a "who's this goofy ass, fat bald guy?" kind of a look.
