A few nites ago I burned my first CD, a photo CD with THOUSANDS (650MB) of shots taken over the last year at different car events. 100% of the photos are of HAMB folks, HAMB hot rods, and traditional styled rods and kustoms.

A number of folks have already showed an interest in purchasing such a CD and Ryan has given his permission to sell said CD's as a fund raiser to support both the HAMB and top for Big Olds. [IMG]

The follow list has some samples of what you'll find on this CD.
    HAMB Drags
    GG Indy
    Bo Huff's
    B'ville
    Gay Mid-Michigan HAMB Breakie
    Back to the 50's
    Hunnert Car Pileup
NSRA York, PA show featuring the So-What crew
    Plus more odds and ends

The CD is available for $10. This will include shipping to the US. If an overseas bud would like me to mail them one, figure out the extra postage here and include it with your payment.

At this point I do not have pay-pal, so sending a check or a $10 bill in an envelope is the only way to go. The CD will ship out the day after I receive payment and I'll PM you the day I ship so you can keep an eye on your mailbox. (if you include your screen name)

I looked through my CD for awhile last night, and again this morning and STILL haven't seen all the pics yet! There are several files which are labeled as to what event they are from, and those files contain LOTS of great pictures!

Denise really knows how to capture what we want to see...since she's a hot rodder herself. Many times, I would come to a picture of a cool rod and think "Boy, I sure would like to see another angle, or the engine"...and then the next picture would have the shot I was hoping for!

Great pics of HAMBers, too...from many different events! Denise always gets 'em together for cozy group shots...nice to see everyone having a great time!

TOP for Big Olds? She could buy him a stable-mate with the proceeds from a photo CD this good relating specifically to cars and people of interest to HAMBers!!

Excellent work, Denise...you ROCK as the traveling HAMB photographer!!! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I'd like to thank everyone in advance for their continued support. If you have an questions, concerns or if anything is not clear, please don't hesitate to ask.

    Way to go, Denise!!!

Ten dollars INCLUDING postage??? That's a steal!!!

(Think of it this way...a magazine will cost you $4 or so per issue and might have a few pics of HAMB-type rides...so having HUNDREDS of cool pictures for $10 is a REAL bargain!)

Good luck, HRLC...you oughtta have a top on Big Olds by Christmas if this thing takes off!! [IMG]

(And thanks again for my advanced "sneak preview" edition! [IMG])

Hi Guys, these ain’t small pictures either, most of the photos where taken at 2048x1536, some where taken at 1024x768 but I don’t think there many if any smaller than 800x600. There all .jpg (JEPG format) files.

Beatnik's right...most of those pics ARE big! I pulled a few off of my CD and stuck 'em in my files...when I opened 'em up, they were bigger than my screen! Really lets you zoom in on the details without getting too blurred.

Depends on what's in your DVD player for software. My brother's works just fine. He sticks in a CD with jpg's and it comes up with a menu allowing you to see the pics on the TV one at a time or as a slide show. I never tried it in mine but I do know mine will play mp3s just like a normal music disk. [IMG]

I've seen some newer DVD players at Wal-Mart that tell ya right on the box that they can view jpg files...kinda cool to be able to see HAMB events, people and cars on TV now!!!

Since we used my camera all summer, do I get a free CD?

I probably have most of those photos and should be asking for cookies instead, but I’m just getting back to fighting weight, and your cookies would be gone in one sitting. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

You're a sweetheart! Why dont you wait until the Detroit Autorama and make a batch so everyone can enjoy them.

  24. The cookies from my birthday are gone and I'm starting to have withdrawls.

Denise, I'm in for a CD. will get the money out this week. PROMISE!!!
On another note, are there any HAMB calendars left or are they all gone? Let me know ASAP.
BTW, why not get a booth at the Autorama, you could sell CD's, HAMB calendars, AND cookies. You could get your dad to man the booth while you were out enjoying the show (pay him off with cookies). You'd probably make enough to quit your job and not have to worry about getting time off to do car events next summer. Just a thought. haha!!!

That might be going alittle too far BUT I just might be able to stash a few CD's in the trunk of Roadstar's 40 incase anyone wants one that's attending the Autorama. [IMG] [IMG]

Speaking of the Autorama, I purchased blank CD's that hold more photos then I thought so I was also able to include photos of all the traditional hot rods and kustoms that were at the Detroit Autorama PLUS group shots of all the HAMB folks that were there along with some pretty special shots of George Barris, the A Brothers, and lots of the cool cars they they created/designed over the years that were displayed there. Your going to LOVE the CD.

WOW !! Got the CD Saturday and it's GREAT!!! I'm going to try and make it last through the snowy winter - ration out a few pics at a time when the crappy weather gets me bummed out.
Super job on putting this together, Denise, it's the best $10 I ever spent!!!!!

here's a very heartfelt public THANX to denise for the work it took to snap these pix and then to put them into cd form.

if any of you folks were at any of these events (and actually even if you weren't) you've just gotta get one of these.

GREAT JOB hrlc; and thanx again.
